Registration Tips:
1) Identify your role (options listed above).
2) Identify your responsibilities.
3) View Course Descriptions and Pre-requisites.
4) View Banner calendar for available dates and times for training.
5) Register using online registration or by calling the Help Center.
(Requires Novell Id
and Password) If you are unsure what you Novell Id and Password are
please contact the Help Center.
6) Repeat steps 3-5 for additional
classes required.

Banner Student Registrar Class Update:
There are no Banner Student Registrar classes
currently scheduled. If there is a high demand for Student training
during the Fall 2006 term, additional classes may be scheduled. Until
additional training classes are offered, the following steps are in
place to provide access to Banner forms:

We strongly suggest staff
attend at least the Navigation and Student Forms & Queries
classes in order to learn how to navigate the forms in INB.

We need a signed
Confidentiality Statement on file. This might have already been
done if staff attended Finance training.

Trained staff in
the office will need to train staff on how to access information in
Banner, which forms to use, and how to use them. Staff should print
Student training manuals from the Banner training website (http://training.uncc.edu/bantrain,
look for Student Services 1, Student Services 2 and Advising
manuals).

After steps 1-3
have been completed, an email from the staff’s supervisor should be
sent to Elizabeth Sanburg in the Records & Registration office (mesanbur@uncc.edu)
requesting access to the forms learned in the Banner Student
training classes. At that point we will be able to grant access to
the forms in Banner.

After access has been granted, if staff have
any questions or problems with Banner they should contact the Help
Center (ext 73100 or
help@uncc.edu).
